Sofia Miele

Hi! My name is Sofia Miele, and I began working at Diversified Financial Solutions as an intern in my senior year of high school in September of 2024, and I am majoring in finance at Cornell University to become an investment banker. While working for Denise, I have gained insightful experience in financial advising and stock trading while completing any tasks she needs accomplished. I’ve learned so many things necessary for my emerging career in finance and am so grateful for her continuous mentorship and amazing personality!

As a student at Sachem North High School, I founded an organization called “The Human Trafficking Prevention Council”. I organized multiple successful fundraisers, including a backpack drive, a clothing drive, and a breakfast sale which raised over $600 in profit for human trafficking victims in need of aid. I also served as president of the Business and Marketing Honor Society, officer and member of multiple other honor societies, and a member of DECA, where I won multiple awards at state level and moved on to compete at an international level.

During my free time, I love going to the gym to lift weights, going on runs, hiking through woods in local areas, and going to the beach. I love going out and getting food with friends and family- my favorites are sushi and Chipotle. I love living life to the fullest and putting my all into everything I do!
